2. Device Access & Mobile Features
To provide core educational functionality, the Falahe Darain mobile app may request permission to access certain device capabilities. Access is always transparent, optional where possible, and only used when you initiate an action:
Camera and Photo Gallery
Used solely when you choose to take a photo or select an existing document image from your gallery (such as student identification cards, birth certificates, educational marksheets, or profile photos) to attach to an admission form or student profile. We never access your photo library without your direct action.
Microphone and Voice Recording
Used exclusively when you participate in oral examination assessments, Quranic recitation reviews, or audio-based coursework. Audio is only recorded when you explicitly press the record button. The app does not record or listen to audio in the background.
Push Notifications
Used to deliver time-sensitive institutional notices, entrance exam schedules, admission result publications, and urgent campus announcements. You may enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Processing student applications, verifying prerequisites, and managing institutional admissions.
- Providing access to student portals, syllabus resources, publications, and examination results.
- Facilitating curriculum delivery, student assessments, and grading of oral or written submissions.
- Sending critical notifications regarding schedules, prayer times, holidays, and administrative announcements.
- Maintaining campus integrity, preventing unauthorized account access, and fulfilling statutory educational reporting.
